MoneyPenny encourages you to personalize your invoice and estimate layouts so they align to your visual corporate identity and specific industry standards.
Just go to your profile settings, select “Templates” and start creating your own Layout Template by copying an existing template then adjust it as you wish.
Name your customized templates then proceed to further changes each time you find it necessary right from the Estimate/Invoice Preview mode. Just make sure you press “Save” after editing.
A preview of the invoice or estimate as PDF will appear on the right side of your screen. Professional, slick and simple layouts are an important detail for any successful business.
Invoice or Estimate Template
When you customize a template, the only differences between “Invoice” and “Estimate” are in the “Header” block. Therefore, to change “Invoice” fields, click the “Invoice” tab, and for editing “Estimate” fields, go to the “Estimate” tab.
To preview your “Invoice” template (or “Estimate” template, as you wish), do not forget to choose the right option under the blocks and click “Preview”.
Items on editable templates
On the “Edit template” page, from the “Items” section you can switch on or off some fields (data) depending on whether you want them or not to be featured on your invoice/estimate. To do so, just check or uncheck the related data fields as shown below:
Also in the “Items” section you can rearrange the columns of the template table. For instance, if you want the “Number” field to be the second column in your invoice table, simply move it to the second line in “Settings” (click on the 6 grey dots and move it).
Delete custom template
If you want to delete any custom templates, you can do so within seconds. The “Delete” button is only visible when the custom template is selected. Your MoneyPenny path for this is: “Settings” -> “Stationery Templates”.
