Adjust the invoice format to your needs
The invoice format customization is a very powerful function. With this wizard you can adjust and group invoices with time entries easily in every possible format. Invoices with time entries can be very long and it isn’t always needed to have all details displayed there.
First, enter your project dashboard and press the link ‘Generate Invoice’ or ‘New Invoice’ to create an invoice from your current project. Select the client to whom the invoice will be sent as well as the projects that you wish to include in the invoice. The customization for the invoice format is easy, fully flexible and provides fast previews to fit your demands.
Secondly, choose whether you need a short, medium or long layout for your invoice:
* The short-format invoice includes a simple summary: one line per each project.
* The medium format helps you group time entries by project, task or team members – as a single or as a mix of all three.
* The long format is a complete summary with full details. Each time entry is a line item.

Then mark the checkboxes for ‘Task Name’, ‘Project Name’ and ‘Team Member’ to adjust the layout to your requirements. Select all three, if you would like to display more details. Press ‘Generate’ to create the invoice as a draft.
