Note: if you want to import expenses from Concur to MoneyPenny, first you need to create the Expense Report in Concur and attach the expenses to this report.
You should create expenses in Concur with the same currency as you use in MoneyPenny because only in this case you can import them to MoneyPenny.
Important reminder: Concur doesn’t allow to import expense notes and receipts to MoneyPenny.
To integrate MoneyPenny with Shoeboxed, you need the “Client ID” and the “Client Secret”.
To get it, go to your Shoeboxed account –> open “Settings” -> choose “My API apps” tab -> and click “Create a new API app”.
Now add your “Company name” (or any other relevant info/name) to the “Company/app name” field, then copy the URL from your MoneyPenny Shoeboxed integration window and insert to the “Redirect URL” field. Next, click “Save”.
After saving, you will see “ID” and “Secret”:
Copy it to your “Shoeboxed” integration screen and click “Save”.
Note: if you wish to export expenses from Shoeboxed to MoneyPenny, it’s recommended to have them registered in Shoeboxed with category and amount. Also, you should use the same currency as in your MoneyPenny account.
Shoeboxed lets you add more than one category to an expense, while MoneyPenny only allows one. In this case, remember that MoneyPenny will take the first category.
Now, once the integration is done, you can import expenses from your Concur/Shoeboxed/Expensify accounts to MoneyPenny.
Go to “Purchases” -> “Expenses” -> “Import”:
And just click, for example, on “Import Expenses from Concur”, then choose the expenses which you want to see in your MoneyPenny account:
Click “Import” and the expenses will appear in your account.
